As for gold, a subtle nod to the potential of gold in Te Aroha that lead to an increase in activity in the 1880’s and pathed the way for the development into the local hot springs.

Designed as a symbol of local knowledge - Sue’s logo is one that says I’ve been here for a long time, I know what’s important to locals. It’s the clock tower of Te Aroha. A World War 2 memorial in honour of the 70 men who gave their lives to protect New Zealand and the township.
